COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUIRED
Sandy, our local volunteer run community eBus is experiencing continued growth in bookings and usage and we are heading into our peak season.
Sandy is part of a 2-year program, looking at how a rural community can manage a transport service with local volunteers operating all aspects of service delivery. Sandy is inclusive of all passengers, with a wheelchair lift, seats for 9 passengers and all drivers requiring a valid Working With Children Certificate. The ebus has a green footprint - being recharged by the local Men's Shed solar powered charging station.
If you have time to help, we need additional drivers, and assistance with bookings/admin. A few hours a week is the most that will be required. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please email sandypointebus@gmail.com.
